What can you achieve with the right approach to mindfulness?

We all know the endless discussions about nature vs. nurture. In many cases, we try to attribute the cause of life events to one of these two factors.


Regarding our own happiness, situations are similar. There is some kind of, let’s call it a baseline, and our level of happiness fluctuates around this baseline. Happier situations in our lives make us feel better and when difficulties arise, we struggle more. We feel frustrated.


We can say it is because of this challenging situation that we feel unhappy.

We can attribute it to our DNA and think there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

Yes, our baseline tends to be where it is and both nature and nurture are behind it.

But the truth is that we can do something about it.


We can gradually increase this baseline by ourselves with the right approach. Shift it towards a healthier, happier and more meaningful life.
